Maisha's imperious utopia is suddenly disrupted by a mysterious entity who condemns her to earth to face a haunting reality: an economy that barters the drained liquified essence of Black people for worldly prosperities. Making the connection with buried past events, she must decide whether to conform, or abolish the system for the advancement of her people.
